PAWS FOR THOUGHT
My path to cat grooming started several years ago with my cat Winnie. She had mats and couldn’t groom herself properly! Ultimately, the best thing for her was to start fresh with a full lion cut. Not long after, Winnie’s entire attitude changed! She went from being shy, aloof, and rarely looking for love to a totally happy and confident lap cat! Mats are uncomfortable and painful for cats, so she didn’t feel right!
Seeing this transformation inspired me to become a cat groomer. Knowing the incredible difference I can make to these animals is why I get up every day and go do this job that I love!
Fast forward to July of 2022 and I was hitting the road to Regina, SK to attend the Apex Academy of Professional Animal Arts and Grooming. By August 1, I was a Certified Feline Master Groomer and on my way back home to create the Pampurrred PussyCat!
A year later and I still can’t believe I get to do this for a living! I finally have a job I truly love and I so enjoy making a difference in the lives of these cats!
